Our choice for the “Plano” sanding machine from IMC (Imola)
“Plano” is an innovative sanding machine designed and built by EMC of Imola which, thanks to a rotary sanding system, combines three different sanding systems (wide abrasive belt, two fixed electronic pads and the rotation of the entire abrasive unit) in one movement. In this way it is possible to obtain a “planar smoothing”, therefore homogeneous in every point of the surface.
A big thanks to the sector newspaper “Xylon” in which Luca Rossetti anticipates the choice of the LAPM company towards an exclusive and functional model of sanding machine designed by the EMC company of Imola.
“We are specialists in lacquered doors”, says Enrico Faè , owner of Lapm. “Every day we do something like 15 thousand doors , thanks to 140 employees who work on three shifts in the four production units where we do the preparation of the panel (sanding and primer), lacquering, polishing and final check. We also have an “additional” plantIt is not easy to work so many pieces every day, always guaranteeing quality and punctuality. Having succeeded has allowed us to make any difference compared to a competition that is very fierce: do you think that we have organized ourselves to close each order a few days in advance of loading times, often even a week, so as to face inconvenience. Our competitiveness is based on an organization that allows us a “crossing time”, from raw material to delivery, of 15 working days .
I won’t deny that we are working and investing to halve these times… ”. in the fourth unit, which we use to respect the delivery times that we have declared even when the workload is beyond our expectations.
In all 24 thousand square meters , a turnover of around 25 million euros and an organization that is very attentive to every phase, to every detail, because we want to dare the highest quality in agreed times and an appropriate price. For us it is a point of honor to respect the agreements made with the customer and if necessary we also work on Sundays!
It is not easy to work so many pieces every day, always guaranteeing quality and punctuality. Having succeeded has allowed us to make any difference compared to a competition that is very fierce.
