The leader of lacquered doors with the creed of quality

Lapm of Pordenone leads the 2023 ranking with a 99.48% share of export turnover

At Lapm Srl of Pasiano di Pordenone, our export share has reached quota 99.48%, enough to deserve the undisputed first place in the 2023 Sole 24 Ore-Statista Export Champions ranking. Here in Friuli-Venezia Giulia we manufacture components for furniture, in particular doors: the various phases include primer application, sanding, lacquering, polishing, protective application and packaging.

Founded in 1987 as a small artisan company, today Lapm works on a global production area of about 24,000 square meters on four manufacturing sites, with a production capacity of 5 million doors a year: European leader numbers, with a strategy built on quality , on the use of the best technologies available on the market and based on respect for the environment and on solid ethical principles. At the base are the intuition and an ambitious development plan of its founder, Enrico Faè, skilled in intercepting the changes taking place, anticipating the evolution of information technology and robotics. The pursuit of quality represents the fundamental mission: «Quality is not achieved by chance or luck, but requires a strategic plan and a continuous investment of attention and energy – says Faè -. Our quality project starts from the inside, from promoting a good work climate and from feeling good in the workplace. And it is not only identified with the final phase of product control, but is declined in every moment of company life, embodied in actions that make each collaborator an active protagonist».

Exports are dominant because Lapm is a trusted partner of the most important kitchen manufacturers in the world: there are 140 collaborators in the field who are constantly trained and specialized in producing quality. The pantographing and drilling phases are entrusted to reliable contractors who must meet the stringent quality parameters dictated by Lapm, whose products also enter the North European and American markets.

The company has already obtained the Fsc, Pefc, Iso 9001 and Iso 14001 certifications and intends to implement the company management system with the Iso 45001 and Iso 50001 certifications. In recent months, work has been done to update the internal company regulations and the organizational manual , the new corporate code of ethics has been drawn up and the introduction of the organizational model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01 on administrative liability.
