Gender equality isn’t built solely through policies, procedures, or certifications. It takes shape every day, even in the seemingly insignificant gestures and habits of our daily lives. The way we communicate is one of these.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Language reflects corporate culture<\/strong><\/p>\n

The words and expressions we use reflect how we view people, roles, and responsibilities within the organization.<\/p>\n

Some phrases are so deeply rooted in our habits that we frequently overlook the messages they transmit. For the entire staff, referring to “men in production” can unintentionally perpetuate stereotypes that aren’t aligned with a more intentional company culture.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Towards more informed communication<\/strong><\/p>\n

Paying attention to language and words does not mean complicating communication but making it more precise and respectful of people’s diversity and values.<\/p>\n

Language can help overcome those stereotypes that, even unconsciously, attribute different characteristics to men and women: leadership, determination, and decision-making ability on the one hand; sensitivity, availability, and caring on the other.<\/p>\n

Within the company, the standard should be much more straightforward: a particular ability is attributed to the individual who has it, irrespective of their gender.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Words become culture<\/strong><\/p>\n

Language is a fundamental element that helps make the culture we want to build visible.<\/p>\n

Changing a few linguistic habits may seem like a small step, but if we multiply this attention across all the conversations, meetings, and communications that take place every day in a company, it becomes much greater.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]A shared responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gender equality isn’t just about women, nor is it the exclusive responsibility of Human Resources or Management. It concerns all of us, and each person can contribute to it through their behavior, the way they listen to others, and the words they choose.<\/p>\n

A work environment where everyone feels recognized for their skills, their contributions, and who they are facilitates collaboration, growth, and development within a team capable of achieving results together.<\/p>\n
